  3. This file contains information that can't be found in the manual or has
  4. been added recently.

  6. UPGRADING THE SHAREWARE-VERSION:
  7. You can now upgrade your shareware-version by installing a license-file.
  8. This license file will turn the shareware-version into a licensed version
  9. without the need of installting the whole package. The license-file can be
  10. shipped by eMail; payment by credit-card is now possible.
  11. Find more details in the menue-bar (INFO).

  13. MANUAL:
  14. Please print the manual before you begin. This is a Windows-Write-file. The
  15. file is called MANUAL.WRI.

  17. ADDITIONS TO THE MANUAL:
  18. You can load the file KMNEWSE.HTM into the browser. Here you'll find more 
  19. updated information.

  24. There is also an included FAQ-file called KMAFAQD.HTM; you can load this 
  25. file into the integrated browser.

  27. INSTALLATION:
  28. You will need an additional file called VB40016.DLL. This file can be
  29. downloaded from CompuServe or from many InterNet sites. It must be located
  30. in the \WINDOWS\SYSTEM-path.
  31. During installation in Windows 3.11 there might be warning messages regarding 
  32. the files DDEML.DLL or COMMDLG.DLL. 
  33. You can ignore these messages in most cases because they will only give you 
  34. the information, that these files are already in use. Installation mustn't 
  35. be aborted.
  36. If there is no DDEML.DLL available in your WINDOWS\SYSTEM directory you can
  37. copy DDEML.DLL from the disk to WINDOWS\SYSTEM. Some older versions of
  38. Windows may not accept this new version of DDEML.DLL; in this case you
  39. should copy DDEML.OLD from the diskette to WINDOWS\SYSTEM and rename the file
  40. to DDEML.DLL.

  42. FILES:
  43. If your installation fails, you can copy the extracted files to their 
  44. destination manually. First you have to extract the files using the
  45. Microsoft tool EXPAND.EXE (EXPAND -r *.*).
  46. After you have expanded all files you can copy them to their destination:
